Critic’s poll names Stereo Night Minneapolis #4 Album of 2009
Let's just quit now.
Some of the praise we received during the year had the suspicious flavor of a lifetime achievement award, so to hear praise from a more broad aggregate of critics had a validating effect on the band. Don’t worry, we encounter humiliations at every turn. We won’t change except to try to make a better record with the songs we’re working on right now.
TTH to Rock Gently Among 2009’s “Best New Bands”
Okay, maybe this is a little comical
We’re not exactly new born, but the band is fresh like a hot cinnamon roll. God knows what more deserving band we bumped off the bill, but it’s fun to play First Ave., and of course they’ll have to yank us off the stage with long hooks.

A happy night happily reviewed in a style we will call “viagral”. Jumping up on that big stage always has that fountain of youth effect. More pictures of the show here.

This gentleman of highest discernment has pierced through the fog and recognized Stereo Night for whatl it is. A man like this should teach a graduate level course in how to write about The Twilight Hours. You are correct, sir!
Thank you.

City Pages, December 15, 2009
This was nice to read. We wound up on City Pages list of the 9 or 10 best Minneapolis albums of the year. We try to be above it. But we’re not.
One of these reviews is not like the others.
Riveting Riffs, December 12, 2009
Read on in sorrow. The band will keep it’d snark powder dry. Yes, that’s the first time you’ve heard the term “snark powder”.

Not sure they heard the CD, but hey, nice to be lumped in among supergroups with Cream!
Oh, yes. They like to talk.

Stereo Night’s virgin review. Well, that didn’t hurt. In fact, it felt good.
