I’m sitting at work, where there are no speakers on my computer. However, I am goose-bump impressed with the idea and the presentation. I am also very nervous. This will undoubtedly be a source for personal humiliation. Yet I can’t wait to contribute to my own humiliation. Great job, fellas. As soon as I get home I will be cranking Reception up to 11.
...if I only had some sort of musical prowess I could join in the plundering…alas…..perhaps I will try to record some lalalala’s that can be blended in somehow…..!
Our pillage has riled the King, and He is apparently displeased. He has rattled his saber to attest His dominion.
As I jumped in the cruiser for a late lunch today, “Toolmaster of Brainerd” blasted from the car radio, like a cloak of dominance over the airways heralding His rein.
Though I admit to being startled, we will NOT be deterred. Already we are scheming our next raid.
The vocals are haunting which fit the mood of the song…..the musicianship is terrific…..I can hear an acoustic guitar…a little electric guitar….nice strumming….sounds in tune…..nice buildup to “I must stay away”...
Nice build-up to “I fell to darkness….friends came out around me…” Beautiful sounds and crystal clear as well…..it’s really impressive….I wish I could make nice sounds….and I can’t describe it really since I really have no idea how you even strum a chord or note or combination thereof!
OH YES! I love it, boys. A little strange, perhaps, but very well done. I think you have made yourselves proud with Reception as the Pillaging Matt debut. You must be a couple of really odd cats, but I wish I were hanging out with you. Well done.
And I was also impressed with the Heisey pulsar. Pretty soon, Heisey Picard will not be able to resist the allure of travel to see a TTH show. The question is, at what venue, and in what town, will he lose his TH virginity?
